Trained at Parsons School of Design and New York University, I am an Interior Designer and Interior Design Planner based in New York City and New Jersey. This Interior Design blog was created to bookmark my inspirations...from
architecture, design, history and fashion. Good design is self-expressing. I interpret these rooms through my own perspective. If you see something new and different...something I can’t see...please contact me, as I am always interested in other peoples’ viewpoints.

I have to bookmark this post! I'd love to have something like this too. I never had a tree swing as a kid so maybe this would be a satisfactory substitute.
I am convinced that our surroundings influence our beings and if we put in our homes only what we love based on comfort and functionality beauty will reveal itself. After all, having a warm, comfortably functional and beautiful home to come back to at the end of a long and hectic day, is what we all covet. A happy home which should render us with either a sense of comfort or reward at the end of our busy days.

Lovely. How soothing...ocean breezes and swaying bed. I could finish a novel in one day. Thanks, Trish
Ooh la la....I can see it too. Me laying here reading my book while sipping my wine and listening to the waves. Just gorgeous!
